چکیده

This study investigated the environmental characteristics and macrobenthic community structures of an intertidal flat located on Yubu Island in western coastal area Yellow Sea South Korea. The site has been well known for migratory bird protection designated by UNESCO. We collected samples surface depth core sediments macrobenthos from unused saltern surrounding it July 2017. Our results demonstrated that means mud, total carbon, nitrogen contents were 50%, 0.35% 0.05%, respectively, origin sediment composed marine sources. sedimentation rate ranged 0.99 to 1.66 cm y−1, which was higher than other tidal flats Sea. result a topographic analysis indicated 289.489 m2, length width 625 m 500 m, respectively. A 13 species occurred with mean density 92 ind. m−2 biomass 58.6 gWWt m−2. Heteromastus filiformis (23.1%, 21 m−2) most dominant species, followed Perinereis linea (19.2%, 18 Tubuca arcuata (17.3%, 16 m−2). Thus, this information will help establish policies protect birds future.
